Project Overview
Optery is a premier personal data removal service. It scans hundreds of data broker sites to find your personal info and automatically removes it.
The Solution
We built a robust, distributed scanning architecture using Next.js and TurboRepo. I implemented Cypress for rigorous E2E testing to ensure reliability and set up efficient GitHub Workflows for CI/CD.
The Challenge
Scaling the scanning engine to handle thousands of concurrent users and hundreds of different data broker sites, each with unique anti-scraping measures and changing DOM structures.
